Recipe for a wonderful book,
By Charlie "wordwiz8" (New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Recipe for a Country Inn: Fine Food from the Inn at Twin Linden (Hardcover)
Donna Leahy has done something few cookbook authors do: write a book that's not just a collection of terrific recipes, but a beautifully written, witty and touching story about following a dream. As a result of the book, my wife and I not only make her recipes at home, but actually went to their inn and enjoyed a deliciously romantic weekend in all aspects. Donna, and her husband, Bob, are the consumate hosts. I cannot recommend this book (and their inn) highly enough.

The terrific recipes are accompanied by heartwarming photographs and an all American story. All three should be experienced.
