5.0 out of 5 stars I did our daughter's wedding feast from this book!, February 12, 2001

This is the best collection of delectable recipes EVER! I depend on it for everything now. The first recipe I tried was the cheesecake, and my husband looked at me and said: "to die for." The pecan pie is without equal. I prepared the food for 250 guests after our daughter's wedding, and every recipe came from this book. The chocolate raspberry truffle brownies were the biggest hit! The finger foods were wonderful! The thing that cooks will like the best is that they can be assured that every single recipe will turn out great--that they've all been tested and chosen as winners. No more leafing through and trying to decide IF something will be a praisworthy dish; now you KNOW! Love this book!

The perfect book for a single person (especially a male) and a great book for a family looking for tasty meals that appeal to everyone. I was able to make dishes (like gumbo & beef stew) that I never would have tried without this book. The editors have done a wonderful job making the recipes easy to follow and each one is a true winner!!! They are truly Hall of Fame caliber.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Recipes are delicious and SO easy to make!!!!, October 21, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Recipe Hall of Fame Cookbook: Winning Recipes from Hometown America (Ring-bound)
I absolutely love this cookbook. My husband has even started cooking since I bought this cookbook. He even reads it in bed!!! The great thing about this cookbook is that ALL of the recipes are delicious. I have other cookbooks that I only use one or two of the recipes but I have already used about 10 of the recipes in this book. I love the Wild Rice Casserole. It's delicious and SO easy to make; I made it Sunday afternnon, froze it and then just popped it in the oven Thursday night. My husband loves to cook breakfast and the whole family loved the Peach French Toast. I would reccommend this cookbook to anyone who likes to eat and cook delicious food.
