This book was awesome passion, heat and great chemistry. From the very beginning Resse and Michael had a great chemstry that went to a passionate longing to be together. Then when they got together oh my my my HOTTTTT heat. This was a great follow up to Taming the Wolf. Loved it from page one to the end. Maureen Smith did it. Great book.

OB/GYN Reese St. James comes to Atlanta for some R&R after losing one of her pt's and dines in the restaurant of her crush, celebrity chef Michael Wolf. There's spark from the first meeting until Michael finds out that Reese isn't the food critic he'd been expecting, not to mention the boyfriend that she didn't mention and treats her horribly. Michael wants nothing to do with her but she has won the apprentice spot on his show "Howlin Good" and they are unable to control their shared attraction. Michael and Reese have amazing chemistry that will leave you satisfied along with a possible romance for Michael's father Sterling whom we wanted much happiness for from "Taming the Wolf". Well written, quick read.

This is the first book I read from Maureen Smith and boy did I enjoy it! The book was well written, characters were well developed, good balance between romance and steamy scenes! I was blushing and smiling several times throughout the book! Story is about Reese who is a doctor from Houston. She takes a 2 month sabatical from her job and goes to Atlanta. While in Atlanta, she decides to go eat at this renown restaurant owned by celebrity chef Michael Wolf. Reese has always been a fan of Michael, ever since he launched his first cook book, plus he was a hottie. When she arrives at the restaurant, she is treated very well. During her meal, Michael walks in and starts mingling with his guest until he spots her. He is completely mesmerized by her so he goes over and starts flirting with her. Reese is starstruck and cannot believe Michael is flirting with her. Michael immediately makes his interest known. That night, he kisses her and she is completely attracted to him, eventhough she has a boyfriend back home. She realizes that and decides to stop their passionate kiss. Michael thought she was impersonating a restaurant reviewer to get to him, so he treats her badly. He leaves and finds out everything was a misunderstanding and Reese was who she said she was. Reese was so upset that when she found out she won a contest to be on Michael's show, she wanted nothing but revenge.
They begin to know each other fot the sake of the show and the more time they spent together getting to know each other, the more they like each other; making it impossible to fight their attraction. They finally stop fighting their attraction and become involved. Boy, their affair was romantic and steamy hot, but tastefully done! Could they both risk everything and take a chance on each other? Could their relationship overcome all the obstacles? You will not regret reading this book. The plot was fantastic, lots of secondary characters that added to the story and the romance was to die for! Cannot wait to read more from Maureen.

If you CAN'T stand the heat don't read Recipe for Temptation...the passion between Michael and Reese is SIZZLING...the pages were so HOT they singed my fingers...LOL...Reese is DEFINITELY a sexy spitfire...while Michael had it going on...the brother was cooking it up ALL over the place...and all I can say is where can I get the recipe for the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake...'cause I want a chocolate orgasm, too...and Papa Wolf was getting his swerve on too...a SPICY, FUN, & QUICK read...HIGHLY recommended...do you think we'll get a story for Quentin in the near future?!!! ;-)

I am officially addicted - I can't stop reading, y'all! I discovered Maureen Smith just last night and this is the second book of hers that I have read - in 1 day! This one was really good. I loved Michael and Reese; they had some serious sexual chemistry and passion going on, which made this book HOT! That chocolate orgasm scene almost took me out - Lawd Have Mercy!! So that I don't reveal anything to anyone planning the read this (and you SHOULD!), I also liked the story of the other couple who ended up getting together. Check this one out if you haven't already.
Oh, and publishers, please make Marcus and Samara's story available on Kindle - I really want to read it! Please and thank you!

Maureen has done it again, and if you read other reviews there is not much to say but they told the truth. The word Temptation will let just say from the moment you start reading this book you will see that Michael & Reese are TEMPTED...........from Temptation. I tell you make sure you have something a little COLD to drink beside you while reading this book.
Can't give to much away but this book was well worth the wait and I recommend it. HOT, HOT, HOT AND OH SOOO SEXY. Smooches Louise

Maureen Smith keeps the fire burning in "Recipe For Temptation." I don't know how she does it but she just does!!!!At first, I couldn't get off into Micheal's character because I'd read about him in "Taming The Wolf" I was thinking he was more older and I don't like to read about old and underage people having sex...Just isn't good for my imagination. :) But after vividly describing Michael Wolf's character, I was drawn in immediately and it was hard to put out the fire!!! I loved the twist and turns in the story and I'm glad it wasn't the typical cheesy love story!!I can't get enough of Maureen Smith books!! I'm reading one a day!!! I'm on Treacherous now and will be purchasing Inferno and Raine and Warricks story(can't remember the name of the book).. Overall rating: 5.0

As with the first, I loved this book. The characters where multidimensional and funny. I completely LOL during Reese's audition with Michael. And Sterling and Asha...WOW! Who knew. It was great to see love strike two Wolf's in one book. Great writing.
