This book calls for a movement back to real foods (as opposed to the processed foods so many of us have come to rely on) and enjoyment of foods without the additives, sugar and (bad) fats that have taken over in recent years. If you're interested in health through proper eating, this is the cookbook for you. If you want to know more about how to sprout seeds and beans, how to juice, and how to de-stress your life, this is the cookbook for you. In addition to the recipes, there are recommendations for kitchen products and health resources. I think it's a great way to become acquainted with the whole foods, slow foods, natural foods and healing foods movements while making recipes that will help you feel wonderful inside and out.
