The book provides not only authentic origins, but a tour through the culture and ambiance of rural Spain. Clear instructions, with helpful notes appear for every recipe, along with explanations of the language and terms used, and in many cases full colour pictures of the dish and the region from which it comes. Warning! - These pages may lose you somewhere on the road to Valencia, with the tantializing aroma of zarzuela in your nostrils, or transport you to a shady spot in the olive groves of Andalucia with a real Spanish omelette in one hand and a glass of the local vino "tinto" in the other.
