About the Author

Tony De Luca studied in North America and landed positions at various world-renowned hotels and restaurants. He is currently Chef de Cuisine of Hillebrand Estates Winery Restaurant in the wine country of the Niagara Peninsula, Ontario.

Recipes From Wine Country by wine expert Tony De Luca is hallmarked with an unusual organization by wine variety presenting chapters which begin with a description of the qualities and culinary pairing of each featured wine, then with seasonal menus and explanations of techniques. Pack with a profusion of color photos showcasing completed dishes and with an attention to dishes which are relatively easy to put together, yet professional in appearance, and you have a celebration of both wine and food which includes such unusual recipes as Veal with 40 Cloves of Garlic (usually this dish is done with chicken); Smoked Chicken Pasta with Walnuts, Endive and Parsley, and a great many more.
