...or as some are calling it,"dark country"? you decide. it's one of the best cd's i've purchased in years. each track is a delicate and tasty slice of longing, lost love or reckless lament.
i have to disagree with the "thirtynothing" review from "Frisco", Jesse's voice is great, fits the mood of the cd, and on each track, and having seen her twice, she is even better live. it's a pure and crystal clear voice that compliments every tune on this cd so well.
her music is like her hair...long, dark and beautiful.

Some friends in Seattle told me about this album which prompted me to check out their website, listen to a few tracks, and ultimately get the CD. A great variety of songs that pull you in with a great sound and story in each one. One might compare it to Nora Jones but a bit darker and more offbeat. Makes for a great addition to any collection.
