Book Description

As a publicist, Avery Collins knows that mixing business with pleasure is a recipe for disaster so she has one rule. Her bedroom is off limits to clients, no matter how enticing and persistent they may be.

Ty McCall is country music’s newest rising star, but he needs the best team in the business to help him make it to the top. That team includes Avery, who gave him the most unforgettable night of his life only to disappear the next morning.

Avery agrees to work with him, but Ty isn’t willing to settle for a professional relationship with the woman of his dreams. Can this sexy cowboy convince her that rules were made to be broken?

5.0 out of 5 stars The Autumn Review July 10, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Well, we're going on to book 4 in the series and I have to say that I'm still really enjoying it. I like the way the characters develop and like that they have some good stuff to sort through to get to their happy endings.

In the first three books, Avery is somewhat in the background. Yes, she's Trey's publicist and former lover, but I didn't feel like we knew too much about her. I have to say, I really liked her. I wasn't sure that I would going in to this book. As I write this, I remember feeling that way about Luc in the last book, but the author made me love him too. She has a knack for pulling out the goods.

Now, Avery comes from a high society family and doesn't really have a good perception on what a healthy relationship involves. So, when she develops strong feelings for Ty, (and who wouldn't) it feels foreign and scary for her. I loved watching Ty break down her walls.

Ty, on the other hand, comes from a normal, healthy, happy family. He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to show it or go after it. Of course, it helps that he's drop dead gorgeous. Ty's not without his faults though and he has a pretty tough road to prove himself to Avery. I think it will be interesting to see how their relationship continues as Ty becomes more successful.

This series is a definite must read for me. I always keep my eye out for the next books release and jump at the chance to review it. I'm invested into this groups' lives now. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming books in the series. We will learn more about the handsome McCall brothers and how their lives will intertwine with the rest of the bunch. CAN'T WAIT!

If you looking for a great Contemporary Romance series, I really do recommend this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite in the series July 17, 2012

I loved this book. Avery & Ty had serious chemistry. I loved that Ty knew from the beginning he wanted her and his sweet words to her to win her heart were great. Avery was the one holding back on love because of emotional baggage. I loved the cat & mouse game these two played. The backstory for each character had drama & emotion. You can't go wrong with a book when the hero is a guy like Ty. I just started reading this series at book 3 (Luc & Marisa). You catch up with Luc a little but Marisa is only mentioned once. This one is my favorite so far. I plan to keep reading this series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Hero, Less Than Great Heroine..... July 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
As the fourth book in the Nashville Nights series it was like revisiting family seeing familiar faces from previous installments. These familiar faces kept the story interesting and me fully invested in a storyline that sometimes veered a bit too far into the realm of soap opera.

Avery Collins let her guard down only once in her life which led to a memorable one night stand that she has yet to forget. Avery's childhood was full of loneliness and an unfaithful father which has left her distrustful of men and their motivations and ending every relationship when things start getting serious. Of all the characters in the book, next to two villainous females, I found Avery the most annoying with her constant distrust even when the truth is right in front of her. She was constantly leading Ty on with her hot and cold emotions and while angry with him for keeping lies, kept one big one of her own. Her reasons for doing so were rather ridiculous and didn't feel believable. For being the older one in this relationship, she acted the most immature. With as wonderful as Ty was, he deserved a much better mate.

Ty McCall has never been able to forget Avery after their one night together and has searched for her everywhere. He knows that she's the one and tells her that from the moment they reconnect. Ty is a good guy whose many selfless acts are to help others. He was very forgiving and supportive of Avery no matter how badly she treated him. Even though they had many petty arguments outside the bedroom incited by Avery, their sexual relationship in the bedroom was very equitable and super steamy. Too bad they couldn't always stay in the bedroom....lol.

The introduction of JT, Ty's brother, has me excited for the next book.

4.5 stars I almost stopped reading the series before reading this book. I didn't really like Avery. She seemed like a self-centered brat. I am so glad I gave her the chance. I would've regretted not reading this book or the rest of the series. Ms. Douglas explained Avery and made me understand why she acted like she did. To read my full review: [...]

4.0 out of 5 stars Good book December 24, 2012

I have enjoyed following each character and watching them grow! The only thing that was off was that the author did repeat a lot of the same phrases over and over through the whole series.
