5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff!
The artist is Vernon Reid of Living Colour (remember Cult of Personality?) the band might have been a one-hit-wonder, but Reid is none the less a serious shredder. For those who can't get into Living Color (I personally happen to like them), this CD is 100% pure guitar, Reid goes AWOL and just belts it out. Sounds great, I was very happy to discover this CD, pitty he's...

1.0 out of 5 stars lacks focus
I'm a fan of guitar-driven music and love the good ones but find that too many of them are unfortunately mediocre at best. I'm sad to report that Project: Storm is one of them. Any instrumental guitar CD these days has got to be top notch in order to hold a listener's interest. That means they've got to show style with a good balance of originality, technique, as well as...

I'm a fan of guitar-driven music and love the good ones but find that too many of them are unfortunately mediocre at best. I'm sad to report that Project: Storm is one of them. Any instrumental guitar CD these days has got to be top notch in order to hold a listener's interest. That means they've got to show style with a good balance of originality, technique, as well as displaying songwriting talent that's more than just bland music set to a 4/4 drums. The music on this album goes nowhere and showcases nothing, as the guitarist is merely proficient, fairly sloppy, and lacks vision and songwriting skills. I mean, on one song you can hear the guitar is way out of tune which demonstrates the level of professionalism that went into making this album. Lastly, it should be mentioned that this album is very short, clocking in at slightly over 30 minutes! I own EPs that are longer. I will bury this one deep in my collection, filed under 'waste of time and money'.

This is a must have. Your music collection is not complete unless you have this CD. I don't know who the guitar player is on this CD, but he makes all others look like little children. The songs on this disc are heavy yet melodic. I especially like Oh Father.
