Last of the Jedi series, May 5, 2008
This has been the best series. It takes me about a day to whip through these books. I love them, and I really love the Star Wars saga. Jude Watson has a fantastic style of writing, and even though the age group targeted is much (much) younger than I am, it doesn't stop me from total enjoyment. I am never dissatisfied with the plot, character development, or the writing. I would love a longer book...

Another excellent installment of the Last of the Jedi series. This series is so wonderful. It packs so much into each books emotion, action and keeps you turning pages (unlike Legacy of the Jedi) and wishing the books would come faster and keep hoping there will be more after book ten. Ferus finally returns to his orginial mission which is locating any Jedi who may have survived the Purge. I'm glad since this was his orginial plan before he came up on Palpatine and Vader's radar. The last book and this one Ferus has been waiving. Struggling to remain a Jedi but its been getting harder and harder with Vader out to get him and Palpatine messing with him. You can feel Ferus waiving and then Obi Wan contacts him and that gets him back on track. You can almost feel Obi Wan knew Ferus was waiving and needed someone to remind him why he was in the middle all this in the first place. Obi Wan gives him what he needs to contiune his mission and even discusses with Obi Wan possiblities of Jedi who survived through reports that were put together about any people doing any unusual or Jedi like things including a toddler on Alderaan which Ferus dismisses out hand and natural worries Obi Wan enough to send Ferus right to Alderaan. It of course ends right there leading us to wait and wonder what's going to happen next. I love this series.

I cried and cried until all the tears in my eyes dried up . . . . ; _ ;, August 6, 2008
This review is from: Reckoning (Star Wars: Last of the Jedi, Book 10) (Mass Market Paperback)
Now . . . having read all 10 books of Last of the Jedi, I have come to the conclusion that THIS is the best work Jude Watson-san has ever done, really ! ( Um . . . my second favourite is Jedi Quest, by the way. )
Well . . . to be frank, I was already on the verge of tears when I was only half way through the story . . . and . . . I was really crying ( silently ) while I was reading the last 1/3 of it because I vaguely knew exactly what was coming which was inevitable ! *sniffles*
Hmm, I believe this "Reckoning" IS filled to the brim with unconditional love, friendship, hope, betrayal, sacrifice and TRULY unexpected turn of events ! *sobs, facedesky* And I couldn't help but read the very last chapter, playing Princess Leia's Theme in my head because they really do match.
Anyways, I really loved the ways Ferus chose to show his affection and love for Trever at the very end of the story and THAT made me cry some more and more until my nose got completely stuffy !! ; _ ;
Arigatoh SO MUCH for creating all these wonderful characters of LotJ, Watson-san !! *bows*
