This book really hit home for me... I enjoyed the character as I could relate to each of them. I love the story and I have to say that I wish there was a continuing story. I would love to know how everyone is doing since the reunion... Thank you for a good, heart warming story.

A family reunited is always great but there were lessons to be learned and appreciated for those of us who can see beyond the story. Uncle jasper was amazing.

***Review From Amy Conley For The Nerd Girl Page***

Tyne Whitlock thought she left her past behind but when her teenage son Zachary aka "Zach" gets into some trouble Tyne has no choice but to go to Lucas SilverHawk a high powered attorney.
Lucas comes up with a plan to take Zach back to Wikweko the place where Lucas was born and raised. It's there that Zach will learn important life lessons and becomes a better person from what he used to be. When Tyne steps back into the one place she tried to leave behind her past catches up to her and alot of memeories come pouring in and secrets come spilling out now the three of them have some catching up to do and there's a lot they must learn about themselves and each other.

My Review:
Firstly I would like to say what an amazing job the author did on this book and I wish I could give it more than the 5 stars because it definitely deserves a higher rating! It left a huge impact on me and one that I'll never forget! Not only is this story incredible but also the characters you watch them grow up tremendoulsy in front of your eyes! I really enjoyed this book alot it brought me smiles, laughter and on occassion some tears too but what I enjoyed most of all is the sense of family and how after some time the character's came together and formed this incredible bond!
I also enjoyed learning the history aspect of it we get to see inside the Lenape community where Lucas grew up and what it meant to be a Silver Hawk and other cultures as well.

Family mysteries, secrets, lies, and cultural differences come to a head in this novel by Donna Fasano. Lucas Silver Hawk, Tyne Whitlock, and their son Zach are faced with dealing with the consequences of their choices, as the past meets the present. The three of them are more alike than different, when the secrets are revealed; and they try to handle their reactions honorably.

The main, secondary, and even minor characters are well developed and realistic-- from the judge's tough stance on juvenile offenders, to Zach's teenaged reactions, to the family members coming to terms with the choices they made. The plot has many interesting twists and turns to keep you guessing what happened in the past, and what will happen next. This romance is a bit spicier than some of Ms Fasano's sweet romances--just enough to keep you fanning yourself! Usually, I have a strong feeling, negative and positive, about main characters; but in this star-crossed lovers' story, I found both Lucas and Tyne engaging, and could understand the rationale for their choices. Watching Zach accept, change, and grow, while learning about his Lenape heritage and family, was a highlight of the novel for me. I have to admit that I fell for the wonderful character, Uncle Jasper. I loved his gentle wisdom and story-telling to make points, which helped the characters accept their past decisions, and learn from them. I felt like jumping in my car and driving north, just to meet him and hear stories!

I appreciated the tying up of loose ends that Ms Fasano provided for the end of the story, and that it didn't just include a happily-ever-after for Lucas and Tyne, but satisfactory closure for all of the plot lines. Get your tissues ready for the epilogue!

I enjoyed this book. I rated it five stars because it is true to life. I imagine there are people who's lives become a crazy mess as did the characters of the book. Good read.

This is the first book I have read by Donna Fasano but will definitely not be my last! She made me fall in love with each of the characters and made me feel apart of their story! I loved how even through all the ups and downs family won out and was stronger in the end! Once I started I could not put this book down!! It's a must read!!

I really enjoyed this book, and while I couldn't read it in one sitting because I have other obligations, I did read it in one day. This is not a typical romance with everything flowery, this story is full of depth that feels real. I found myself tearing up with the emotional ups and downs of the story. I did, however hope for a little more at the end, a longer epilogue perhaps, but everything was drawn to a good amount of closure. this is not a typical romance that I would have chosen, but I borrowed it from kindle's lending library after reading the sample. I am very glad that I did.

Although starting out as another "secret baby" story, Reclaim My Heart is that and so much more. It is a story of missed opportunities, second chances, reconciliation, and most of all, forgiveness. Unlike other stories with a similar storyline, there was none of the rancour, one-up-manship, or the 'blame game' that often characterizes such stories. Here we see people expressing honest emotions, working through the tough issues together, taking responsibility for past actions, and being willing to forgive each other, and, just as importantly, themselves. All in all a satisfying read. I really enjoyed it!
