This book reawakens our resolve to welcome all young people in to our shared circle of courage through understanding how spirituality is an essential part of their lives.
The authors skillfully craft a powerful message of hope, reclamination, and victory for anyone who cares about young people by blending real-life stories, with practical solutions based up biblical wisdom and the wisdom of historial figures in the youth development field.
This must read book will fill your heart with hope, fill your mind with new and fresh ideas and start you on a journey of discovery that will reward you and all young people in your life. This is an especially important book for teachers, coaches, juvenile home workers and foster care parents.
This is a must buy!

This is a great book for anyone interested or going into the field of Juvenile Justice and yet it is also an exceptional read for all parents. It emphasizes the importance of never giving up on our troubled youth and ways of dealing with these troubled youth in an insightful and even spiritual manner. I would recommend this book to anyone who has thier own children or want to help others children.

I had the joy and privilege of meeting Scott Larson and the young adults he and his program have ministered to - I was extremely impressed. There is very Biblically sound principles - and practical - for working with youth who have been affected by "dysfunctional families". The housing program he oversees in some New England states verifies his approach for reaching and rebuilding the lives of youth who didn't have the love and support they needed growing up.

I have not read all of it yet but I think it gears more towards youth pastors or the youth ministry, so it is a good book if you are in that field of work.
