This is very sound, practical, "liveable" teaching on the matter of spiritual warfare. Unfortunately, most of us from evangelical backgrounds get very limited teaching on the reality of the battle. Dr. Logan's book is particularly valuable in that it not only acquaints the reader with the concept of spiritual warfare, but gives practical, measurable steps to apply it to their daily walk. The "Higher Ground" segments between chapters are especially helpful in this regard. I'm ordinarily hesitant to recommend books too quickly, knowing that for most people it requires an investment of days or weeks to finish a book. Dr. Logan's book is a notable exception; this is worthwhile reading for any believer who's hungry to see genuine change and growth. This is life-changing material. What gift to the body of Christ!

Starting with real life failures who have overcome certain weaknesses, Logan gets to the heart of the matter: backing off from Satan because of our inability to face the truth. The ground we surrender to Satan can be reclaimed, and the fortresses he's built there destroyed, by acknowledging our weakness, and drawing on God's strength.

Each chapter covers another area to work through, with step by step instructions on how to break unhealthy and unspiritual behavior. Especially helpful are Logan's instructions on restoring broken relationships, submisison to lawful authorities, and overcoming habitual sin. The chapter on the armor of God was full of insights, but be warned that the book virtually requires a life-changing experience.

Jim Logan has set down a step by step biblical approach to spiritual warfare which can and should be used by every christian. This book will guide the christian to victory and freedom in Christ!

This book is the best out there for leading you through a step by step cleaning of your life.

The author does a wonderful job of covering all the areas that we give ground to Satan. And some of these I would have never thought of as surrendered ground (bitterness & unforgiveness).

This book and the available workbook have changed my life.

Praise God for a practical guide like this.

We are studying this book as an elective in our Sunday School Class at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church in PA. It gets directly to the point of spiritual warfare in yourself, your family and the church in general. It covers many different ways that spirits can invade you and your home and how to reclaim the surrendered ground. I would recommend this to any individual or group looking for a good book to study.

This is the most clearly written book I have read on spiritual warfare. Too many books get bogged down in theology and cerebral arguements. Jim Logan explains exactly what spiritual warfare is, how the believer and non-believer alike are affected and what to do about it. He backs up what he says with Scripture. This is a must read for anyone interested in or dealing with spiritual warfare!

Our Bible study group is using Jim Logan's book as our study guide directing and assisting us in reclaiming our families, our homes, and our lives. We have already seen results and are set free through this marvelous teaching tool. Dr. BJP

This book is the most informative of its type out there. Spiritual warfare is a reality that we all have to face in our lives whether Christian or not. This book shows us how to do that. Families are attacked every single day,one member at a time, dragging the whole family into this battle. We owe it to the ones we love to learn as much as possible about this fact of life. There are plenty of stories between the covers of this book to explain how others have conquered Satan. He only has power if we give it to him!

Very helpful book. I especially recommend that Pastors read this book so that they can counsel members of their congregation that might be struggling with demonic attacks. As Christians, we are very naive to the wiles and working of the devil. We tend to ignore the fact that we are in a spirtual battle. Until we are knocked down by the enemy, we don't do anything. So we fail to live in the victory Jesus has won for us on the cross. Jim Logan educates on how to reclaim lost ground and how to live in Jesus' victory for us. I think this book will be an eye-opener for many readers. I highly recommended it to every believer!!!!

A friend suggested that I get this book and read it. I am so glad that I did. Dr. Logan presents biblical truth in an interesting, storytelling fashion which I so appreciated. There are many wonderful nuggets of wisdom and some truly "so that's why" insights. His counsel is sound and carefully crafted. Get this book for yourself and for your family's sake. You won't regret it.
