This review is from: Recognizing Richard Rabbit: A Fable About Being True to Yourself (Paperback)
I was captivated by the authors intention for this book which I came across in the preface: "Together, these inquiries transform each turn of the page into a double step forward in your vital and quintessentially human quest to be authentic."That is a very ambitious and profound mission. And yet, as short as this book is, it delivers by asking us to consider all the right questions. In my experience, almost no attitude is so valuable as a sense of doubt. The questions one asks to a great degree take us here or there in life and help us to fail or succeed in everything. This little book, through the art of questioning, can help you find and stay on the unique path in life that was meant for you. I thoroughly enjoyed this fable and look forward to reading it to my kids!

Peter Weddle has done it again! He's taken a complex subject and reduced it to logical points of thought that can lead to personal action. Recognizing Richard Rabbit motivates the reader to consider change as self-managable by querying some very basic human beliefs and emotions. It doesn't tell the reader what to do; it enables creative problem-solving. And besides all that, it's fun and charming. C. Barber

The simple language and moral of this story make what is a complex topic--being true to yourself-- very accessible.
