4.0 out of 5 stars Fans of over-the-top-action movies
This is great action movie! Guns, stunts, explotions, who could ask for more! The police are in a fire fight with some highly trained bank robbers. One of the bank robbers killed happens to be the son of a powerful mob family in L.A. and the family starts to take down the officers one by one. But only one man is brave enough to take the family down...Det. Ray Morgan(Gary...

2.0 out of 5 stars The actors made it work
The actors in this movie didn't have much to work with. The first half hour of the movie is just a long chase scene with very few lines or any chance for performance. The next half hour is poorly written dialouge dragged out far longer than it ever needed to be. In this section the plot reveals itself and Gary Daniels is blamed for the "murder" of a runaway...

But this movie doesn't have to be an Oscar winning type of perforance? This movie was made for people who want to see some good ole action pact fun.

The actors in this movie didn't have much to work with. The first half hour of the movie is just a long chase scene with very few lines or any chance for performance. The next half hour is poorly written dialouge dragged out far longer than it ever needed to be. In this section the plot reveals itself and Gary Daniels is blamed for the "murder" of a runaway bank robber. when the bank robbers' wealthy parents learn this they send assasins after Daniels and everyone he ever knew and loved. I think a lot of these things could have been done better. There are some neat directors tricks but everything feels junky because the writer repeats everything over and over to make sure the audience understands. After 30 minutes of chaseing and 40 minutes of dialouge Gary Daniels is in his first fight scene in the movie. Gary Daniels though a little late proves himself again as the most incredable movie martial artist of all time. From here most of the movie is Daniels charicter walking around beating people up shooting a few and kicking a few more... The ending is an unsatisfying bullet in the heads of all the assassins' runners. Then he walks off into the screen to complete his life in some unexplained mysterious way. I would recomend the last half hour to martial arts fans and the first half hour to car chase fans. But the overall movie changes its purposes three times, and I dont think it works.
