A collection of the seven scholarly presentations and responses from the 1995 symposium on reconciliation sponsored by The North American Forum on the Catechumenate. The symposium itself brought together 44 experts from a variety of disciplines, team members from Re-Membering Church institutes, and key leaders in the fields of reconciliation, evangelization, liturgy, ministry, and small Christian communities. Presenters included Toinette M. Eugene, James D. Davidson, Paul J. Philibert, OP, Fredric M. Roberts, Margaret M. Mitchell, James Dallen, and Kathleen Hughes, RSCJ. In the presentations and responses within these pages, reconciliation is explored from theological, ecclesiological, psychological, anthropological, historical, scriptural, and pastoral points of view, providing fertile ground from which good pastoral practice can grow.
