The Reconditioned Edge Hog 2-in-1 Landscape Edger (LE750R) offers versatility and increased power to create perfectly manicured lawns around sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and patios. The edger feature has the ability to tackle tough overgrowth along hard surfaces creating a defined trench between the grass and the surface. The exclusive Pull-Up Edge Guide converts the edger into a landscape trencher. The landscape trencher is powered by a 2-1/4 hp* high torque motor to shape gardens, shape tree borders, install outdoor lighting or install underground invisible dog fencing. The 3-position blade depth adjustment provides depth of cut at 1, 1-1/4, and 1-1/2 inches to maximize the control of the trench depth. Weighing in at 12.4 pounds, and possessing a three-wheel design provides lightweight comfort and balance while edging. The 7-1/2-inch hardened steel blade's counter clockwise rotation throws dirt and debris away from the operator leaving a crisp edge on the trench. A built-in cord retention secures the extension cord for increased safety and continuous edging with no interruptions. The assistance handle can be attached on the right or left side allowing for variations in user preferences. I bought this edger thinking I would get an OK product for the price. I used it over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised that it works better than much more expensive models. There was little assembly and in no time I was ready to go. I've seen my neighbor struggle with a more expensive model and was shocked how quickly I was able to edge my entire yard a lot faster than I've seen him do his, and I have a huge yard. It took me a little while to figure out the best direction to use the blade (on the pavement with the built in guide against the sidewalk)but after that sunk in it was a breeze. Next I cut a path to border a garden spot and it worked like a champ. This is a great buy!! I don't normally write reviews but this one I felt merited comment.

Factory-Reconditioned Black & Decker 2-1/4 HP Edge Hog Electric Lawn Edger #LE750R... This is my first refurbish product, I don't think I will buy online another Factory-Reconditioned again (may be in store which I can see it condition). Not sure how long it will last but it's look beat up and a front wheel not straight. It's might be worth under $25.00 on the one that I got. Better to buy it brand new.

picked it up for thiry-seven bucks on a friday sale. could not be happier -- great item, great price. don't over-pay on this one ... wait for the price to come back down.
