Its Light, Its Cheap and Its Junk !,
By Once you do get the thing to start, it does a good job at blowing, but the controls for adjusting the throttle are limited. It is difficult to get it to blow just a little, its either all or nothing. Getting it to stop is also a little annoying. You have to back off the throttle and then give it full choke in order for the thing to shut off. Tomorrow is trash day where I live and this unit will be on the top of the garbage can. Its too bad there is not an option to give this item 0 stars.

Bought this from Wal Mart for $70.00. Used it three times and the pull cord broke completely off. Replaced it for free and now have an extremely hard time starting the unit due to the pull cord once again. I hate this machine! I admit once it gets to blowing it's halfway decent, but it's not worth the struggle. Plus the blow power has decreased significantly despite following all user directions precisely.

Great Price. Poor performance,

This blower will only run for me at 3/4 throttle with the choke half on. Try and turn the choke off and it dies. The carb has security screws to prevent adjusting the mix. Sears has started using these bolts too to prevent people who don't have a clue from messing things up. I've worked with small engines most of my life and if it needs lots of choke to run then the fuel mix is too lean. It seams to be built fairly sturdy.

Weed Eater after 3 years,

For the first 2 years this equipment served me well for my 1+ acre yard. The 3rd year it will not start even using starter fluid. Had I been able to get four year out of this blower for a total cost of $60 or $15 per year, I would have been satisfied. We live in a disposable world and until the time come when you want to buy Made in the USA and pay the price for quality, get over it. We are disposable and cheap.

I should have researched this gas blower before purchase. I am having the same problem with it that some others are having. The pull cord will not retract making it impossible to start. I had it fixed the first time it happened only to have it happen again The person who repaired it said it is poorly designed.

I purchased one of these as a replacement for an identical one I had for years. I just worn the thing out.Great price, quick free delivery and the unit looked like new. Ran pretty well, but took it to a local small engine mechanic and he adjusted the carb and this thing starts and run great. He suggested using a fuel additive called Star Tron, seems the ethanol in gasoline is hard on the these engines. Little bottle will last forever. If you've never owned 2-cycle engines you really need to read and understand the starting procedures cause these things will really piss you off if you can't get them to run. They're pretty temperamental, but once you figure them out, they'll run for years with very little maintenance. I bought one of those red TORO electric blowers and its nice, but I despise breaking out the darn extension cord every time I mow the yard. more power to ya!

I bought this about six months ago and have used it a probably a dozen times or more. If you don't follow the directions closely it is hard to start. My wife still insists on using the electric Toro Blower because it seems to have more power, but for me the advantage of not having to drag out cords and constantly plugging and unplugging it as I move around the yard is worth the sacrifice. It's not commercial quality, but it is light and works well at blowing the grass and leaves off the sidewalk and driveway.

I am 11 and this is what I think. I just got a refurbished one of these and it works Great!. I would not recommend this to everyday users or people that handle large amounts of wet leaves. For the $ this is a lot of bang for you buck.

This Blower blows!,
This review is from: Factory Reconditioned Weed Eater FeatherLite FL1500LE 25cc 2-Stroke 150 MPH Gas Powered Blower (Lawn & Patio)
I'm with the few reviews that I have seen that mention the pull-string malfunctioning. I've used mine 2-3 times before the pull-string stopped going in. I just came back from my garage where I tried to figure out how to fix it but it has so many different types of screws and in hard to get places that I gave up and decided it wasn't worth the effort. This blower blows. It was tough to start but that was never an issue, it simply failed and only after a few uses. worthless garbage.
