Four Voices Harmony Masters,
By Omar Villarrubia (San Juan, Puerto Rico USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Brazil:Heart & Soul (Audio CD)
Os Cariocas is probably the dean group (quartet)regarding voice harmony in Brazil. They travel the world during the forties and fifties and after many years of separation they united again and recorded this masterpiece. Luiza from A.C. Jobim is probably the piece that truly provides a glance at the cretivity and musicianship of these virtuosos (A Capella). It shall be emphasized that they not only sing but play their own istruments and make their own arrangements. Add to that the average age of over 65 years per person and you get to the conclusion that older is better. Enjoy!
