I do not mind the fact that the pictures of the stadiums have been reduced down to a size where the text now just prints to a smudge that is illegible.

The NFL Record and Fact Book is the most accurate, informative and complete NFL book out there.

I have bought several volumes of this book over the years my first back in 1992 and have always been impressed with each as a stand-alone volume.

What has really gotten my goat with this version is that it is now in a 'more compact' size... think of it as being like a fun size Mars bar of a book. I do not mind the fact that the pictures of the stadiums have been reduced down to a size where the text now just prints to a smudge that is illegible. What does really gripe me is that my favourite section has always been the weekly review of the season in question.

Yes I am the kind of geek (as I imagine most of you are who are thinking of buying this book) who would like to know that New Orleans were down 24-3 in the second quarter against Miami - or Matt Stafford's stunning last ditch win against Cleveland - I know this because I remember. It is however not in the NFL record and fact book 2009. In previous years it would have been! Some fool has decided to remove the section in its entirety... Why I hear you ask... the only answer I can see is that they have included a fantasy section which is the most ridiculous thing since boil in the bag cornflakes... The thing should be renamed the NFL record and fiction book.

Who is years to come is going to want to know who was going to be a top fantasy pick in 2010.

Somebody's behind needs a good kicking.

I do not mind paying more for everything - I do resent paying anything for only 3 quarters.

Come on guys give us the 2009 FACTS - All of them!

Very disappointed

The NFL Record and Fact Book is the most accurate, informative and complete NFL book out there. It has complete statistics, all-time results and team directories. All time NFL individual and team records. Active and career coaching records. All time team-versus team results. History of overtime games. A list of outstanding individual performances. Offical records for post season games, Super Bowl and Pro Bowl. I buy a new one every 4 to 5 years. It is easy to settle diagreements with your buddies.
