A graduate of Syracuse University and its Maxwell School, I have been practicing law in New York since 1974 having studied in England and New York. Many of my Letters-to-the-Editor and essays have been published in Israel and New York, as well as picked up on various web-sites. I speak French, taught myself some Italian (to enjoy better the Opera) and know a little Hebrew and Yiddish. I am a trustee of the Parker Jewish Institute ( the largest geriatric hospital in the New York area) and a board member of Cancer Care of Long Island which Is a A"subsidiaryA" of Cancer Care, a New York City based not-for-profit founded in 1944, which provides financial, emotional, educational and other support for cancer patients as well as their families, at no expense.
