4.0 out of 5 stars Very High Sound Quality, November 9, 2006

This review is from: Elvis as Recorded at Madison Square Garden ( Paper Sleeve Collection Mini LP 24 bit 96 khz ) (Audio CD)
This Japanese digitization of the historic 1972 Madison Square Garden concert is of very high sound quality. The only reason I have given it less than 5 stars is that the crowd noise is a constant and unrelenting distraction. The sustained fevered pitch of the audience does give you a first hand perspective of what a stunning success Elvis' appearance in New York was!

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent performance, April 5, 2009
One of Elvis' best concert albums. It is a typical early 1970's performance including many well known concert favorites such as Never Been to Spain, You Don't Have to Say You Love Me, and Polk Salad Annie as well as performances of some of his classic hits like All Shook Up, Suspicious Minds, and Can't Help Falling in Love. The original album was released in 1972 and was an international hit. It peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard album chart and number 3 in the UK. It was certified MULTI-PLATINUM by the RIAA.

This release is a Super High Material CD format with enhanced audio quality.
