They work. What else you need.
Do not spend money on expensive Monster Cables. I doubt if those Monsters will give you anything more than these plain Recoton cables. I bought S-Video cable from Recoton too. They too nicely work.

do not buy this brand
Sent item back to the company and got a rejected mail saying, "COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS, RETURN TO SENDER". The company address on the label is: Recoton Accessories, Inc. 2950 Lake Emma Road Lake Mary, FL 32746. Made in China

I'm glad I purchased the Recoton DVD361 6-Foot Component Video Cable instead of the expensive Monster Component Video Cable.It is a very good quality product for the low price.

These carry the signal as well as Big Name Brand cables costing ten times as much. Save your money for buying more movies!

I've worked as an engineer for more then 35 years in many fields that required specialized cables, including video cables. During that time I have leaned many things including these two facts:
1) not all cables are the same, some good and some bad 2) the difference is not determined by price These cables are good and they cost less.

We used these cables to connect our DVD player to our TV so we could watch our favorite movies. It proved to be an excellent choice: colors all true, vivid images, and no static.

This is a low quality cable, there isn't any signal coming from the green channel, I used an electrical current tester and only got signal from the red and blue channels.

I was disappointed with the quality of these cables. Mine were defective. When plugged in the red was WAY over-represented. The quality of the color was significantly worse than even a standard video cable. I would not recommend this product.
