Since I was a youth; I've always wanted to paint " The Last Supper". I bought two sets; one for my daughter and one for myself. I have painted at least a dozen PBN kits. I have bought my own acrylic paints 2 oz bottles in various colors and prefer to use them over supplied paints with the kits. You don't have to worry about running out of a color and it gives you more color choices.
The Last Supper kit only had the printed numbers on the canvas and did not include the usual sheet with the drawn out painting. There is a chart on back of the box for reference. After you paint the numbers given you have a basic painting. To give the Painting a realistic look you had to refer to the picture on the box and follow the tips provided to give it a finished look. I did not use the paint provided (water mixable oil paint). I used my own acrylics, since it dries fast and avoided a lot of mixing of colors. It is amazing to see how two different people paint the same picture the faces of the apostles are most noticeable differences. We painted at a leisure pace and enjoyed our time painting together. The finished painting measures 11-1/2" x 15-3/4". Now I need to find frames this size. Wish me luck !

I really hated the oil/water paints. it was very difficult to get the paint just right and to go on evenly. I ended up throwing the whole set away.

this painting is awful. paint very thick and has to be thinned to even use. even when thinned paint does not go on easily. also paint colors do not match with picture on product box. would not buy this type again
