I loved this book when I initially found it on clearance in the bookstore. I worked at a drug and alcohol agency and used it there as a reference extensively. After approximately one month, all my co-workers were borrowing it, and I ended up going on amazon to purchase copies for them.
The book discusses each category of drugs in a factual and informational manner. It is very basic in it's presentation, not hard to understand and gives factual information that a layman can understand. I recommended it to families to purchase as a reference in order to educate and guide them in assisting treatment to their loved one afflicted by addiction. |
