After practicing law for more than twenty years, Ward started and built several successful businesses, including a publishing company and a network marketing business.

Ward is the founder of The Attorney Marketing Center, attorneymarketing.com, where he writes a blog and newsletter on marketing and productivity. He is the author of more than a dozen books and courses on marketing for attorneys.

OK THIS IS THE DEAL...I am a Real Estate Broker that was sent David's blog by a Lawyer friend and I fell in love with his writing and his info. It keeps me on track and focused and always is motivating and pushing me to get out there one more time, to re exam myslef and my business. I just substitute the Lawyer stuff for Real Estate it is the same principal only I get it much worse than the Lawyers!!! I love the book and the info and find that anyone can apply info that has a brain!
As to negative reviews, just went thru this on Yelp and I must say I was upset but one jealous or mean spirited person does not need to sink the ship! I got mine removed always post as to the fact that everyone has an opinion, but, it ain't always right! An enlightened person would take the time to find out for themselves! Best wishes David and thanks for the endless supply of information!

Excellent book! I felt like it was on hands training with Mr. Ward. This book has helped me rethink and refine my approach to my business. Thank you for putting all of this information together in one location. I will go back and reread this book over and over again. I'm already having renewed success recruiting because Mr. Ward has helped me reframe the way I think about recruiting. There are many great examples, scripts, and strategies to help anyone have success in their network marketing business. I highly recommend this book!

By Far The Best & Most Complete Resource for Network Marketing! David lays everything out in an easy to understand, step by step process with nothing left out. I am surprised at his frankness and complete honesty in what he uses that works and what doesn't. This book is an absolute must read for any attorney considering a network marketing opportunity. With all of attorneys' education, knowledge, organizational and persuasion skills, without the information contained in this book, whether it comes the easy way, i.e. from this book, or the hard way through bad experiences and wasted time, we are doomed to frustration and failure in attempting to build a network organization.

I have 30+ years as an attorney and have done 1000+ trials and was sure with finely honed communication and persuasion skills that building a network organization would be fast, fun and easy. How wrong I was! It was only since reading this book (and I intend to read it again and again) that I saw the error of my ways! Building a network organization is counter-intuitive to the way attorneys have been taught to think and act; and yes, we can become very good at it, but unless we stop acting like attorneys and start acting like the network marketing professionals that have made great fortunes that are far beyond what we ever have while working as attorneys, we never will!

If you are not an attorney, this book will be extremely useful because you will not first have to "unlearn" your lifetime training and habits and instead, you can just start doing it right from the very beginning!

This book is excellent. Although focusing on how to build a successful network marketing company, I think many of the principles shared by Mr. Ward apply to almost any type of business. In this book you will learn dozens of different ways to keep the sales conversation moving forward until the deal is done. It will also open your eyes to new ways to share your product or service with clients and customers.

For those of you who are thinking about purchasing this book to help with your network marketing business, I believe it will do just that and much more. In fact, it’s the best book about how to start and build a network marketing business that I’ve ever read. Get this book, follow Mr. Ward’s suggestions, and you’ll be miles ahead of the competition.

Outstanding compilation of the proven techniques and the underlying psychology associated with building a successful network marketing business. Mr. Ward's book is a must-read for distributors new to network marketing, yet it provides a valuable review for the seasoned veteran of this industry. The book is written in a well-organized, concise, and thoughtful manner, and it is an excellent resource for anyone in network marketing.

I once heard it said that there is nothing so practical as a good theory. Love it! Practice always comes first. But, theory is also important. This is exactly why you need to read this book.

Some people are great at theory. Others are all about action. The best blend the two. David Ward is that mixture. He has built a large, and successful, network marketing business. And, like a good doctor, he can tell you the "how" as well as the "why." To paraphrase Joe Biden, it's a big bleepin' deal!

The author is an analytical and a lawyer. Which is exactly who you should listen to. Why? Because Mr. Ward understands his subject matter at a greater depth than most. At the same time, the author is prolific and has developed an ability to simplify complicated issues. So, you get tremendous depth in a book that can be read (and reread) in a day or two.

Let's face it. Building a successful MLM business is hard. But, it's a weird kind of hard. It's not hard physically. It's not digging ditches. The entire battle will take place between your own two ears. For this reason, what you need is a good road map. I believe this book is that map.

Let me give you one example. If you have been in direct sales, for any length of time, you have heard the saying, "Fortune is in the follow-up." It would make for a great bumper sticker. However, if you wish to get rich in network marketing, you need more than simplistic slogans. Personally, I have long struggled with what that follow-up concept really means. "Recruit and Grow Rich" to the rescue.

Mr. Ward's book gives a fantastic explanation. He talks about Stage One and Stage Two. Stage One is where you're actively following up, either in-person or over the phone. Stage Two is more long-term and it involves emails, text messages, and the like. This one idea is easily worth the price of the book.

Read the book. It's worth it.
