5.0 out of 5 stars WOW
I think I'm exposing some "underground recruiter secret" when I say this, but The Recruiter's Bible is definitely a secret weapon. At first when I received it I was like, what's this...copies that were bound at Kinkos, but then I read it and flipped! There is something like over a thousand resources in the book and they list a description of each and what sort...

I was a bit disappointed with the Bible. I was surprised to receive this binder with xeroxed pages of typed URLs - unfortunately, some of them with typos.

Although it is a sourcebook of free sites, some of the first sites listed in the book were no longer free. In addition, some of the links did not work and must have been old, although I bought the book a just...

I was a bit disappointed with the Bible. I was surprised to receive this binder with xeroxed pages of typed URLs - unfortunately, some of them with typos.

Although it is a sourcebook of free sites, some of the first sites listed in the book were no longer free. In addition, some of the links did not work and must have been old, although I bought the book a just after the last update.

Because the book lacks tight organization, I found it too time consuming to be a real good tool for me.

At first when I received it I was like, what's this...copies that were bound at Kinkos, but then I read it and flipped! There is something like over a thousand resources in the book and they list a description of each and what sort of candidates you'll find there. The book says they don't list sites that aren't worth visiting. It saved me so much time and I'm so happy I own this! I highly suggest all recruiters (except my direct competition) buy this!

5.0 out of 5 stars Lives Up to The Name!, July 25, 2000

I received the August 2000 edition and am amazed at the amount of information in the book. It has already paid for itself. The book doesn't tell you how to recruit it is 100% pure information on where to go: portals, communities, job banks, associations, colleges, niche sites. The author finds resume banks in places I would never think to search. I also like that the company updates this book each month. I'm sick of buying Internet-related books only to find half of the information is outdated. That is not the case here. EXCELLENT RESOURCE.
