The idea of following a plan to find love appealed to me since I'd tried just about everything else with zero success. Dunham and Freedman showed me how to assess myself and get organized to find the "right" one instead of just, as they say, "Ms. You'll Do." They were right- looking for love is a lot like a job search. I was surprised to find I'd been looking for love in all the wrong faces and places. Easy to read--but like others have said here, the message in this book actually changed my way of thinking about myself and dating. That's pretty remarkable.

This book made sense to me and it changed the way I was meeting women. I haven't met the right one yet but I am not dating people who are totally wrong anymore. That's a big step in the right direction. I laughed at the cartoons and funny clip art but I took the authors' message seriously. This is great stuff here.

This book is great. The analogies with business is perfect for the working class Joe/Jane who feels pressed for time. It helps you whether youre passive, aggressive, or in between. The small cost of the book is much less than a night at a singles bar looking for someone. You'll get at least insight if nothing else.

My first review here.Wanted to tell everyone this book pointed out all my mistakes in dating. No dates were more than three dates with any one girl before reading this book. I am in college and this book is mainly for older singles, but who cares? It definitely helped me so if you are younger, okay. You have to do the work but this book is a great guide in the right direction. Highly recommend. Danny.

That other reviewer is right. Look closely at these reviews and you will see why this anonymous reviewing system is a problem. Have you noticed how practically every review here is 5 stars and written with the same tone, punctuation, style and length? They read like sound-bite ads. I wonder how much time the author spent creating the multiple login IDs.

I'm a single guy in New York and have had a difficult time trying to find out how to locate someone. This book hits the nail on the head. Its written for people like me. Pofessional people with very little time for game playing. I appreciated the Advice Sisters style and how they guided me through the process. This book isn't silly, but a realistic plan that is good for men as well as women. Thanks Alison and Jessica

First off, Recruiting Love got me over a realllllly bad breakup...Anyone who is down about love should read it-it's great! I started dating again. I was glad Amazon had it since I read bout it but Im from a small town and couldn't find this book in local stores. Iowa, we DO read in small towns but it's harder for us to find all the best books!

I just can't say enough about this book. I reviewed it on Borders and I'm doing it here too because you don't always read something that actually changes your life. You want to share it. Dunham and Freedman make this book entertaining but when you finish you have something valuable to use. Ladies who think they never will date again-I'm over thirty and I thought I'd never find anyone. But I got results I'd never believed. Think whatever you want but read it.

I read this book cover to cover--couldn't put it down! I've looked at other "relationship" books but they never told me what I NEED to know so I could find someone right for me. Most of them seemed geared to women anyway and that is a turnoff for guys. This book is one men as well as women can really relate to--I did! And I'm already doing the plan and feel GREAT about the fact that for ONCE I am focused and organized on what I want instead of just dating whatever woman happens to seem interested in me. Single men, I feel, owe THE ADVICE SISTERS a world of thanks for writing an intelligent book with an easy-to-follow plan MEN don't have to feel stupid using to work on achieving a relationship goal. Thumbs up for these two sisters!

FINALLY! A book for singles that doesn't insult your intelligence! a MUST READ for adult singles who are looking for a serious relationship and don't have the time to get it wrong! THE ADVICE SISTERS have done the single world a huge favor with RECRUITINGLOVE! I loved this book and recommend it highly. It's fun to read even if you aren't single and essential to read if you ARE!
