4.0 out of 5 stars Nice cloth, but beware of shrinkage
I like this table cloth, particularly how easy-care it is. But it does shrink significantly. My 62 x 90 cloth is closer to 52 x 75 after two washes. I'm about to order another, but in a larger size.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth the High Price! BEWARE!
Crazy expensive and we knew up front, thanks to other reviewers, that hot water would shrink it drastically. Unfortunately, a gentle wash on cold does the same too. 90" long and it "barely" covers the table length (with NO overhang at all). Shame on the company who must know this happens, but can't preshrink before selling. Too bad to as it is a beautiful tablecloth...

Just purchased my third tablecloth of this type. I love the texture and weight of the material. I also have napkins that go with all three of my tablecloths. No need for ironing and they have not shrunk after several washings. I do remove them from the dryer as soon as they are dry and use low or medium heat. By far my favorite tablecloths.

4.0 out of 5 stars 62x90 Tavern Check Tablecloth, January 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a high quality tablecloth that lays flat without ironing even after a wash. The only drawback was the major shrinkage (approximately 10 inches off the long length) after a gentle wash in cold cycle and a gentle dry. I would definitely recommend ordering the larger size! Otherwise, a beautifully crafted tablecloth for the most discerning eye!

Love this MADE IN USA tablecloth. As another reviewer stated it does shrink considerably. Order larger size as the supplier suggests to get the finished size you want. The color does seem to be a little off, ordered Stone and White and the "gray" seems to have a little brown in it, so it's not a true cool gray but more of a warm gray. It drapes nicely and washes with no ironing as promised. Always try to buy 100% cotton whenever possible and this is really well made. I do want to order an additional one in a different color to switch off color theme.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love this tablecloth!, December 17, 2011

I love homespun tablecloths which have graced my tables for years. They are 100 percent cotton, so I expect them to shrink a little. In fact, I prefer the way they look and feel after washing and drying -- that is when they take on true homespun casual comfort.

This is a very attractive, serviceable tablecloth. Yes, is does shrink if washed and dried in warm sources, so it's important to get a larger size or be prepared to fuss with it (cold water, line dry).

5.0 out of 5 stars tablecloth, September 4, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Tablecloth is just what I was looking for-had one years ago and had not been able to find it in any store. was thrilled to find it on Amazon. You do need to size up because they shrink when washed even if line dried but well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Upscale outdoor dining, August 23, 2011

We used this tablecloth for an outdoor barbecue because we wanted something a bit more upscale. No plastic tablecloths or paper plates for this event. This beautifully made hand loomed cotton tablecloth was perfect and priced reasonably for this material and quality. I checked local kitchen stores, including Macy's, and couldn't find anything like it. Yes, it is cotton, so you don't put it in the dryer. I washed it in cool water and hung dry and it didn't shrink a bit. Would work great on a kitchen table, as well. Great product and prompt shipping!
