Book Description

2000
Escape from the humiliations of Hope Hall brings no respite for the lovely Amelia Colinbrooke. To her horror, Amelia is obliged to attend a special disciplinary course for wayward young ladies, devised by the Reverend Richard Dawes - the infamous 'chastising chaplain' of Hatherby, a man who brings a truly missionary zeal to the task of thrashing pretty, nubile, girls.

Amelia, and the other trembling trainees, soon discover that bitter humiliation, excruciating bondage, and searing corporal correction, are not so much features of the Reverend's training programme, as their entire new way of life. Dawes takes a particular interest in Amelia. Can Colinbrooke pride resist the rigour of his rod? Or will the whip finally break Amelia and her fair companions to absolute submission to the will of the diabolical Reverend Dawes...?

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than average psudeo victorian, June 26, 2005

This review is from: Rectory of Correction (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the usual whipping mild S&M novel with Rev Danvers as the main sleze and Amelda as one of the victums. The girls are sent off to Danvers for correction (thats the main plot) with Danvers ploting to get Amelda to marry him (her uncle and aunt want toge rid of her). Another of the girls Kirsty is sent there as an attempt to get her to give over a improbably if not ridiculious clan chieftan ship in a very sketchy sub plot. Theres also a sketchy and rather irrelivant slavery sub theme as well that only shows what a sleze Danvers is. Amelda doesn't come off as very sharp as she is shocked to find that after marrage Danvers will keep on whiping her.

But the various whiping etc. scenes are will and eroticaly written with D/S of the M/F mostly some F/F and a little F/M. Without much plot or humor 3 is the highest rating I will give.
