great idea but has issues,

I got this hoping to go more green. I am constantly working out and constantly shaving because of this. I go through cheap razor a lot and am worried about the environmental impact. When I saw this I was relieved I could cut down on my impact and possibly save cash too. Unfortunately, the blades on the first razor started to rust after the first use even with applying the cover (which I usually don't do). This did not go over well with me. I thought it could be a fluke but the second blade set did the same.

My husband uses this razor, and is very satisfied. His skin is bumpy, so it is always a task to not cut himself while shaving. I got him this triple-blade razor, and it works better than the cheap disposable razors. Thinking green, I bought some cartidges, too. He can easily shave 3 times with the same blade, without cutting himself. He hasn't encountered the rust problem the other reviewer mentioned.

Love that it's recycled, don't like the shave,

I transitioned to this razor after my local store (that sold the Wally shaver & blades) closed down. This razor reminds me of the cheapy disposable razors-the ones that always take a layer of skin off the front of my shin bone when they're sharp, and give me horrible razor burn to boot.I love that they're made of post consumer recycled material, but the blades don't last long, and the shave is not fun about half the time. Maybe it's just me, but I've been shaving for nearly twenty years, and this just doesn't work for me. I'm going back to my Wally-just found it here on Amazon.

Soft and smooth,

I've been using this razor for at least a month now, and I love it. The shave is close and I almost never get nicks. The case it comes in make the razor transportable on trips. It's very cool that it's made of recycled yogurt cups and I can recycle the handles when I'm ready. I highly recommend!

A very sleek, simple razor that does exactly as it is supposed to. Forgive me for not being able to find more words of praise for it, but it's a razor sooo as long as it shaves well, it's got my vote. The only problem I could forsee with this would be that it doesn't have an incredibly large moisturizing strip, so if you had very sensitive skin I could see how it might irritate you. Personally I love that, as the thick, goopy, gelatinous moisturizing strips on most razors interfere with my shave more than they help!

I think my old razor must've been REALLY old, because it took a little razor burn to get used to these new sharp blades. But I'm very pleased with Preserve's razors. Close shave, the handle is comfortable, and everything is recycled/recyclable. Well done Recycline.
