If you are a sigur ros fan and like the original release (VON), check this out. The sweet floating yet haunting sounds are remixed with wondrous results, creating royksopp like grooves. Sigur Ros hits the clubs! Some (see the remix of Hun Jord) have an almost drum and bass vibe, with a deep growling baseline. Really great stuff! Check for a better price though, amazon's $30 can easily be beat elsewhere.

Those customers who first heard of Sigur Ros when the album "()" came out are probably unaware of the band's incredible earlier work from "Agaetis Byrjun" and "Von." "Von" was originally only available in Iceland, but is now available here in the states as well. This work is Sigur Ros in its rawest, most awesome energetic form. It was so unique and influential that it inspired this remix album, "Recycle Bin," featuring Sigur Ros remixes with the help of other great ambient bands such as Mum and Biogen. I put this album on and just chill out for like an hour - it's one of those CDs that just help you think and contemplate life, as you feel the music rush over you in awesome waves. You don't even realize when tracks change because the album flows so well. A must-have for any Sigur Ros fan!
