A great looking piece. I gave it as a gift for Father's Day. I expected the parts to have some kind of "worn" look to them, given that it's called the "RECYCLED Bicycle Parts" clock. That aside, it was well put together and the pendulum is the icing on the cake. The cog swinging from the bike chain brings it all together and it's really an eye catcher.
It's also very sturdy and heavy-feeling for its size, giving you a perception of durability. I'm only lowering by 1 star because of price, which I think could have been a bit cheaper, as well as the new-looking materials used. If you know in advance that it doesn't have a worn look, then you'll be very pleased. I might actually look into getting one of these, but the wall-mounted version, for myself. |
