Every year I go Christmas caroling to raise money for children's charities. For fun last year I took a green hardhat with a headlamp and decorated it with plastic poinsetta flowers, a big red bow, a small stuffed snowman on the headlamp and a small snowman on top with flashing red and blue LEDs inside. It was a great success, bringing many smiles on both young and old faces. This year I added this string of red LED's and it was even a bigger hit. The battery pack fit nicely inside the helmet held by a piece of duct tape. It has worked perfectly for me.
