5.0 out of 5 stars Great help in understanding emotions, October 19, 2011
This review is from: The Red Beast: Controlling Anger in Children With Asperger's Syndrome (Hardcover)
My 6 year old son does not have Aspergers but he does get angry and unfortunately witnesses it in his parents. We read the book once at the library a few weeks ago. Today my red beast was large and not listening and my son pointed it out with complete understanding and asked me how I was going to calm it down. So I explained my frustration, he listened to me and we had a very good discussion about anger and moving on. The book really resonated with him. Great book for all children and adults!

I thought this book was great. It explained anger to children on their level, It showed how anger is started in us, how it can get out of control, and some kid friendly ways to control it. Very good book!
