chimes were much smaller that i had expected, guess i wasn't thinking about the wire that holds them

I have a friend for whom I wanted to get a gift. She is a Super Patriot and while I was browzing Amazon's Red Carpet Studios site I found this Air Force wind chime: ASIN:B001LYH9DA. She and I share an Air Force background and the chime was not terribly expensive, so I got one also. My friend is a decorating artist and has made no exception of her back yard which looks like a landscaper's delight; however, she did most of the work herself. She also has a daughter-in-law in the Marines, so I also got her ASIN:B001LYDT1Q to honor her. We both hung our wind chimes in our back yards and are quite happy with them. The disc honoring the Branch of Service is fairly large and is painted. I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the chimes would be better matched to the disc if they were longer and I fear that the painted disc will run in the rain; however, that is just a possibility, not a given. I got an Army one for the grandmother next door and she plans to keep hers inside near a fan. These are great for PATRIOTS ONE AND ALL.
