Interesting, but needs editing,

This review is from: Red Cosmos: K. E. Tsiolkovskii, Grandfather of Soviet Rocketry (Centennial of Flight Series) (Paperback)
Because there is so little in English about Tsiolkovsky,Texas A&M Press should be commended for publishing this work; however, it appears not to have been edited carefully. Some technical passages are nearly incomprehensible. Tsiolkovsky certainly understood and endorsed Newton's laws of motion and theory of gravitation, but a reader might be led to think otherwise, given the very awkward renderings of his comments in the text.
There are also several careless lapses in spelling and usage. Among them are 'to wet', instead of 'whet' an appetite, and the use of 'litany' to refer to a procession of visitors instead of a sequence of prayers. |
