Why is the contents of this kit such a well-guarded secret wherever it's sold on the internet? This is the contents of the plastic box:

6 hand cleansing wipes 5 in x 7-3/4 in (12.7 cm x 19.7 cm)
3-Antibiotic Ointment 1/32 oz
15 Adhesive Bandages 5/8 in x 2-1/4 in (1.5 cm x 5.7 cm)
12 Adhesive Bandages 3/4 in x 3 in (1.9 cm x 7.6 cm)
8 Spots Adhesive Bandages 7/8 in x 7/8 in (2.2 cm x 2.2 cm)
4 Gauze Pads 2 in x 2 in (5.1 cm x 5.1 cm)
19 Adhesive Bandages 1 in x 3 in (2.5 cm x 7.6 cm)
2 Tylenol (Acetaminophen) Extra Strength Caplets 500 mg
1 Organized Carrying Case

Obviously, it's really a box of bandaids and 4 gauze pads. They threw in two (yes, TWO, as in "2)) Tylenol caplets, six tiny applications of Neosporin, and six hand wipes. This kit is at LEAST double the price it should be for what it contains.

Do yourselves a favor: Get a nice closable plastic box of your liking at the Dollar store, throw in a 99 cents box of bandaids, a generic antibiotic ointment, and you're good to go because who doesn't ALREADY have a tiny bottle of pain reliever in the car/bag and a pack of Wet Ones? This would be the more cost-effective alternative to leave in a car. For ladies, just carry a few regular bandaids and one big one, Neo-to-go, and your regular pain reliever and wipes in you rpurse - you probably already do. Personally, I wouldn't keep so many bandaids in a car that long, because you'll never use all of them and they'll get all old and sticky leaving them in the car for what may be a year or two or more. Also, the ointment and Tylenol will likely expire, and you should never leave those in a hot car or freezing weather anyway (unless you take it out every single time you leave the vehicle).

This kit doesn't have 1/2 of the things that I feel are necessary - i.e. ice packs, Neosporin, Benadryl, etc.

I have bought it for my camping bag and 2 more for work.
The kit is very generic and contains items for minor abrasion wounds and minor cuts.
Never the less... A must for any Parent.

Standard items are fine. However for a cooking class I needed a few additional first aid items but generally it's okay for general travel.
