Rowdy and Ready,

Man...this cd rocks!!! if your sitting down, you'll get up and move...if your driving...watch the speedlimit cause you'll automatically start going faster...the best country/punk band around. These guys bring back old school country music at a fast and furious pace...think, Ramones meets Haggard or maybe Hank Sr. The pedal steel of Greg and Timbo's rough and ready vocals set the pace and the rest of the band have no problems keeping up. Run!, don't walk to the checkout counter below with this CD...you'll thank me for it...but thats not needed...just send money!Rich

Live & Raw,

I was fortunate enough to be living in Los Angeles when this cd was recorded and was able to catch the show. "Red Eyed & Rowdy" is a perfect title. It seemed that bottles of beer & tequila shots kept being handed to the band as they ripped through their set. Timbo was on fire. B. Sloan did his usual superb job as Timbo's right-hand bass man. Pat held down the drum kit with masterful efficiency. While Greg McMullen sat there executing on his peddle steel like no one's business. And Rutherford held down his guitar parts to complete the night's lineup.Hats off to the Thunderbird Lounge for hosting this gig & many others over the years. In order to still hear great bands like Speedbuggy USA, you've got to have people step up and Kane did just that. Extra-credit for having L.A. scenester & Junkyard cronie, Donny Popejoy, introduce the band as only he can!

Cowpunk--country's alternative,

Speedbuggy has been playing all over the world for quite a few years now, but until Red Eyed and Rowdy, none of their recordings captured the best part of this four (sometimes five) piece-- the energy of a live show. This record is a great example of what the stale sound of country in the '80s and '90s led to-- a return to classic country and rockabilly mixed with punk. This CD is FANTASTIC!
