This album rules- anyone who loves the Sword or something in that vain will be very pleasantly surprised by this up and coming Portland, OR band. The record is well-produced but not too slick to betray a sense of the raw power of the songs. Great riffs, great hooks, solid rock all the way!

A week after our daughter was born I had to head out with a friend to do some physical work at his place... I mention this because of how tired I was when I got into my car to drive to my friend's place... I decided to take Red Fang with me as I not only not had the chance to listen to it since receiving it in the mail from Amazon the day before, but forgot what they sounded like when I clicked on 'Listen to Samples' prior to purchasing it...

No need to stop for a coffee! Man, was I blown away with how heavy and how awesome the music was... Shades of Melvins... Shades of Fu Manchu... Red Fang is just the panacea one needs to start a day of physical labour off right...

This was a band i checked out for no other reason than the band name sounded cool, and so i checked out a sampling of their tunes here on Amazon. What i found was a band after my own heart. Very much in the vein of bands like QOTSA, Fu Manchu, and the like, but a bit heavier overall. This is definitely some good driving music that can also be enjoyed while chilling at home, toiling away at work, or pretty much any other setting. I really, really love this album and am glad to have run across it. I have to thank Amazon also...if it hadnt shown up in my recommendations, i probably would never have heard of them, but the fact that it did made it possible to become one of my favorites. So thank you Amazon for that one, and....

I was at Mayhem this summer outside Boise when at the Jager stage came out this rough looking group of dudes that just blew my mind. The next day I ordered the two albums and I was not disappointed after listening to them. This album, as good as it is, is not as good as Murder but it still rocks.

Though this band isnt Dozer by any means they still play a good hard rock in the same vein

Okay... I need to be honest and tell you that I've had this album since it was released nationally... I saw the video for "Prehistoric dog" and fell in love instantly. Now all that aside, I am STILL IN LOVE with this record, almost 2 years later!!! If you like fast, and raw metal in the vein of "The Melvins" with a great Northwestern feel this is for you! I am SOOOO anxiously awaiting anything more from these guys. Also, the louder it is the better. Remember to piss off your neighbors!

I have been looking for some heavy, driving music and this album is EXACTLY what i've been looking for. The Standout songs for me are 'Prehistoric Dog', 'Good To Die' and 'Sharks'...but the whole CD is damn good. Amazon seems to offer the most killer stuff each month, and this is no exception. Awesome record if you like Clutch, The Melvins, or early 90's heavy rock. This just rules!

Prehistoric dog is on e of the best metal songs ever written!!! It rocks on every level and will make your neck sore from head banging.

Good old fashion hell raising music! I wish they'd tour the South so I can see them live!

soft members. i can drink everyone in this band under the table. combined. i have and will again. once again: buy this record if you love metal and enjoy weak drinking men.
