4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting narration with humurous anectodes, September 16, 2000
This review is from: Red Files: Secrets Of The Russian Archives Revealed [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This book has less to do with the opening of the Russian Archives. It is more an account of life in the USSR from a common man's perspective. It is witty and interesting. Moreover, the narration is well done. One feels sorry for the Russian people as it comes out showing the entire Soviet experiment to be a terrible tradgedy at their expense. The book however also points out some popular misconceptions about the USSR in the west.
