5.0 out of 5 stars An easy reader ghost story
Peter Fergusen provides the fine drawings for this easy reader ghost story revolving around Jenna, who finds the perfect old doll at a garage sale for free. But when she takes it home, trouble and mystery evolves. This companion to THE BLUE GHOST places the ghost squarely in the doll - and provides a satisfyingly eerie story young readers will relish.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Very Good
I read books that pertain to dolls and toys. This one was disappointing. The characters were one dimensional. Even young children want to know more about a character, otherwise you would be reading early readers your whole life. It is very short and the ghost story lacks depth of any kind. Haunted doll, I don't want it you take it. Well I don't want it either let's throw it away. Uninteresting storyline, uninteresting characters. The only character that could have been interesting would have been the little sister who the doll was a gift for. She could sense the ghost. Probably the only smart one in the book. Waste of 20 minutes, sad, could have had potential but only my opinion.
