1 Red and 1 Green Prayer Plant - Maranta - Easy to grow

I really like prayer plants and was interested in buying a red one. I decided to purchase these since I was having trouble finding one locally. They arrived quickly by priority mail. The 4 inch pots had tape around the top to keep the soil in place and the box they were in was full of packing peanuts. Be prepared to repot the plants within the week, 4 inch pots are a bit small.

The green plant was much larger than the red one. The green one was also blooming (they arrived in September.) After repotting both plants they are both thriving and growing like weeds. They like light, but not direct sun. The green one folds its leaves more tightly than the red at night.

The only thing that would have improved the purchase experience whould have been if Hirt's Gardens had included a care sheet for the plants.

I recieved these prayer plants 3 days before i was supposed to, and a few of the leaves were broke, but other then that they were in great condition. I ordered these plants because my husband said that they were beautiful plants. I just did not know how pretty they would be till I recieved these plants. I would deffinatly order from them again, if there ever was another plant that i could not find in my area. The pictures just do not do them justice. They are just beautiful. I can't wait to see how big they actually get.

These plants arrived in great condidion. They are healthy and growing great. Were a nice size on arrival with no bugs or disease. I would order from these folks again.

I received two healthy plants that arrived well packed and quickly.
Both plants transplanted well to bigger pots and seem to be thriving although
the Green Maranta is doing much better than the Red. Not sure why.
Overall, I would order plants like these from Amazon again.

These plants are hardy and great for the kids to watch them close up at night.

Beautiful plants came 72 hours after the box was shipped. I watered them immediately since one was a little dry. Both were in excellent condition. The leaves were in the night position when I took them from the box and within minutes they responded to the light and opened for the day. My interest was sparked in prayer plants by a planter pot which had miniature white blooming peace lily Spathaphyllum together with prayer plants of the same size leaves and height so as not to overshadow one another. The red prayer plant catches the eye with color while the green one adds leaf shading and the white blooms of the small miniature variety of peace lily is very attractive when blooming. Love this combination and the idea of prayer and peace go together biblically speaking. Have a blessed day!

I received a small green maranta, and a slightly larger red veined variety. the green one immediately exploded in growth in just a month! it went from having 4 leaves on arrival and is sporting more than 20 now. upon re-potting the red veined (which appeared to be in a slightly more dormant phase) i discovered there were actually 3 smaller individual plants(!) and re-potted them separately. they've since been doing much better. (: I love how easy they are to care for and watching them move through the day!

I was very pleased with how quickly the plants came in the mail, I think it was 2 days. They were in great condition when they arrived.

Plants arrived quickly and in GREAT condition! (The seller even took care to tape across the pot so the dirt wouldn't fall out in transit!) The plants looked exactly like the picture & even came with 2 pages of instructions and helpful tips for planting or potting! I've had them for about a week now and they're doing great in their new home! They open down during the day and close up in the evening (subtly of course). Very unique and beautiful plants! Love them! I haven't had a problem with watering or light or growing...they're pretty low maintenance.

Very interesting plants. The Green seemed to thrive better than the Red. Red came with dried leaves, but you can tell the vendor made an effort with packaging ect. Use this in my small office space off living room. Very nice
