Wit and wisdom of Possum Lodge
Written by and starring Steve Smith
As Red says, "You have to grow old, but you dont have to mature." Eight years into its 15-year run, The Red Green Show showed no signs of maturity. This complete season of the public television hit sees Red at his most inventive, making a heart pacemaker out of a digital clock and trying to run the lodge electrical system from a car cigarette lighter, just to name a couple dismal but hilarious failures. It was also the year that Red ran for mayor and Harold ran off . . . to college. College??
Join Red, Harold, and all the guys at Possum Lodge for a years worth of doing what men do when women arent aroundand some things that are even worse. "Red is a manly man with a bent brain pan . . . a hip cult classic" The Detroit Free Press
EXTRA JUNK: Red and Harold character bios.

It's the long awaited release of the 1998 season of the Red Green Show! It was a short but wonderful season or as Red puts it; "It was a not-as-bad-as-it could-have-been year." This is a three disk set with 14 episodes. The video is crisp and clear and the audio is great too. The menus on the disks are easy to navigate through and there is the all important "play all" feature as well. As always; everyone we love and admire are in this set; Hap; Mike; Bill; Dalton; Edgar and Ranger Gord!
For those of you who already own the "Stuffed and Mounted" DVD's, here is a list of the episodes from this season that are also on the Stuffed and Mounted releases. "The Mayor Race"- Red runs for mayor of Possum Lake. (Stuffed & Mounted 6) "Better To Give Than Receive"- The guys become competitive blood donors. (Stuffed & Mounted 5) "Town Services Contract"- Possum Lake hires the lodge to supply tow truck, snow plow and ambulance service. (Stuffed & Mounted 4) "Life Cycle"- Red & Harold compete in a novel road race. (Stuffed & Mounted 3) "Mad About You"- Harold teaches Red about anger management (Stuffed & Mounted 2) Also worth mentioning; "It's A Wonderful Red Green Christmas" is available on DVD seperately. In my humble opinion; even though almost half of these episodes have been released before, this is still worth owning. So if you love Red Green; show your support by buying this set. God willing if sales are good; the rest of the seasons will ultimately follow. Remember; I'm pulling for ya; were all in this together!
