Ms. Hubbard has done her thing once again with this great read. If you are familiar with her writing style then you why she's called the Queen of Cliff Hangers and in this book she does her thing once again.

There is nothing sweet about coming home to Detroit, after being away for so long when you have to attend your best friend’s funeral after an apparent suicide. Jode Price is doubtful that her friend Kasey took her own life, so much so that she begins to probe into the details surrounding Kasey’s death. Memories from the past start to surface as Jode’s feeling that the suicide may in fact be a murder heightens, but unfortunately all involved want to keep the past closed, especially Stephen, Kasey’s brother.
An interesting mystery where at first I didn’t understand the past relationship between Jode and Stephen. I wasn’t sure if the author was trying to portray an almost shy but guilty teenaged boy or a molester. Some editing issues were present, but I liked the story and the characters.

This was a great read. It had a bit of mystery, and love thrown in as well. The back story of Jode and Stephen was sooooo good and interesting. It really made this book a complete page turner. The ending was very unexpected. I am really enjoying this authors writing style. Her books never have a dull moment, and keep me interested. Sylvia Hubbard is quickly becoming one of my favs.

This writer is one of my favorite. Though there are some literary no- no's throughout the book, Sylvia was none the less loyal to her conviction of unwinding a tale full of betrayal and mystery. I love how the book begins with a crime that eventually unleashes an infectious power of curiosity, love, lust, jealousy and hate. I can't wait to read another one of this author's mysteries. AND BEFORE she publishes it, I will truly be honored to serve as a ghost editor for the book. Good job Sylvia!

Here again Ms. Hubbard has exceede herself. You go Ms. Hubbard. I love your style of writing. You have suspense as well as romance in your novels. You keep the reader constantly thinking about what is going to happen next. I like this continuation of the Heart family. Well, I am on to the next book. I have the whole collection.

Great Read! Sylvia always brings it. I love the authentic struggle and play she delivers in all of her stories between both the lead male and female character of each of her books. A taste of Redemption, and Sweet Revenge in every step. It gets good y'all. From beginning to end your senses will be titillated. Enjoy .'-)

This was a good read. It took me a mint to really get in to. The only thing that I had a hard time with was the way
the some of the wording was. But I liked how you just thought that she was just a friend who would not let people
think that she committed suicide.

I decided to read Red Heart because it was a free Kindle book.A short mystery that was a o.k. read. I didn't understand what the author was thinking or what point she was making to make the strange relationship between Stephen and Jode as kids. Stephen was a sick puppy.

Wow, what a story! The chemistry that they had for each other was amazing. To know that you love someone that early in life is a great find. Red and Jobe has a great story to tell, and Ms. Hubbard captured that wonderfully.
