Product Description

Red Shallots are favored by gourmet chefs worldwide. The interesting flavors are fantastic in stir-fries, simmered with meats and potatoes and in classic French sauces. Plant 1" deep and 10" apart in the fall or spring. Water well after planting and during dry periods. You can harvest green onions 6-8 weeks after planting. When the tops turn yellow, the shallots can be harvested. Dry the bulbs in the sun for a few days.
