I bought this book as a Christmas gift for a good friend of mine who is a huge fan of RHCP. I didn't know what to expect because I have never seen this book in the stores and there was no product preview. Since I bought it a little late I got to see it at the same time she did. She'd never heard of it (which was good because if she had, I'm sure she'd have it already) and she loved it (or so she says). When thinking about purchasing this book I read the reviews from others and it seemed to be an okay book. It didn't really excite me but since all other gift options fell through, I ended up throwing caution to the wind and buying it anyway. I'm glad I did because I was looking through it, even though I am not a HUGE RHCP fan I could still and did appreciate the content. I'm sure RHCP fans could appreciate it even more. All in all, I am glad my other options fell through because it turned out to be not only a surprise but an original gift idea that she liked. :)
