Three princes, Prince Zain, Prince Rafael and Prince Santos are all attending the arranged wedding of their friend Prince Hugo. They all three agree that it would be horrible to be married off like that and they are all worried that they will be in the same situation.
It has been foretold that Prince Zain will marry the woman he kisses at Midnight the night of his 30th birthday. Not being a man interested in marriage he flees to the United States where no woman knows of this prophecy and cannot try to kiss him. In honor of her late friend Lauren and her friends decide to fill out her wishes. The one that Lauren draws is to kiss a prince. Well that is easier said than done. When she actually finds and kisses a prince she has no idea that she is now destined to be his wife.
Prince Rafael is visiting his brother Luca in the hopes of convincing him to dump his girlfriend and come back with him. Being royal means you must uphold a set of standards as to who you see and his brother is not following that very well. He is seeing this obnoxious, greedy woman named Shayla who Rafael cannot stop thinking about. However it is not because he hates her, it's because he wants her more than anything. Shayla is doing a favor for her friend Luca. Luca is dating Cathy the girl he truly loves but he knows that his family will not approve of her, so he asks Shayla to pretend to be his horrible girlfriend so when his family meets his true girlfriend they will love her in comparison to Shayla. Shayla agrees to help out a pal but ends up falling in love with his hunky older brother.
Prince Santos loves the beach life. The beach life loves him but it does not love the image he must uphold. So he gets an image consultant to help him become a more proper prince before he has to attend any social functions. Kylee has never met a client she could not transform into the proper gentlemen. But she has never had a client like Prince Santos either. He is exactly the kind of person she used to be. Can she change him or will he change her?
RED-HOT AND ROYAL was a very fast, funny enjoyable read. I think that Prince Zain's story was my favorite but I was confused as to how he was going to be able to take the throne if he did not marry Lauren. He offered to move her there to live with him but early on in the story he stated he will lose his princehood if he did not marry her. I also wonder what happened with her friends other goals, such as winning a million dollars. Did anyone complete the other tasks? I just think that there were a few pieces of the story that were not finished.
Prince Rafael was by far my favorite prince out of the three. He was so attracted to his brother's girlfriend and tried hard to ignore that attraction no matter how she tempted him. And boy did she tempt him. Prince Santos was too arrogant for my tastes and Kylee seemed to change too much in the end. I wish she would have upheld some of her own lifestyle instead of becoming a beach bunny again.
I really enjoyed how the story jumped from one prince to another even though they were not really related in any way. I was never big into contemporary romances but this one was great. The story was well written, with the exception of what I mentioned above, and the characters were funny and witty. I am looking forward to reading more of Mrs. Carr's stories.

I really did like the storylines, just not exactly as the were written. The jumping around got to me, so I read each story through on its own.
All three stories were great, I epecially liked Rafes story.
I would buy it again.
