About the Author
Tony Hall is a playwright andmoviemaker. In the theatre, he has worked extensively in Western Canada with Catalyst Theatre and in the Caribbeanwith Derek Walcott's Trinidad Theatre Workshop and with Banyan Television. Tonyfounded, with Errol Fabien, LordstreetTheatre Company with the prize winning jouvay mas trilogy of bands, A Band on Drugs (1991), A Band onViolence (1992) and A Band on US (1993). His plays include: The award winningJEAN & DINAH . . . (1994) successfully performed in the Caribbean,the US, the UKand Canada.Also the controversial TWILIGHT CAFÉ (The Last Breakfast) was first performedin Trinidad in 2002. Mr. Hall has been Visiting Artistin Residence at Trinity College,Hartford, CTsince 1998.¿
