5.0 out of 5 stars A very worthy 1 man project
I bought this album after just listening to thr first 2 tracks. I bought it also because I loved the 1st Tartaros CD. This will only appeal to those who go crazy over symphonic, complex, and technical black metal. If you are not a fan of Grimlock, you may want to hear the music first before you buy. If you're into any Emperor, Peccatum, or even Dimmu, then you'll love...

3.0 out of 5 stars Keyboard driven Black Metal
The first time I listened to this my eyes rolled and I quickly ejected it from my CD player by track 5 or so. More Black Metal nonsense with redundant drum machine chaos behind distorted guitars and keyboards. But, as with any good metal album, the more I listened the more I liked. Even though the drums are on a drum machine....they are so INSANELY fast..and kick butt!

The first time I listened to this my eyes rolled and I quickly ejected it from my CD player by track 5 or so. More Black Metal nonsense with redundant drum machine chaos behind distorted guitars and keyboards. But, as with any good metal album, the more I listened the more I liked. Individual parts, complexities in arrangement and time changes became discernable. While still chaotic, now the guitars emit more of a complex, amphetamine-derived feel for Grimloch to growl his medieval tainted lyrics. This being said, I must admit I am not a huge Black Metal fan... death, thrash or grind personally suits me better. But if you're a huge Black fan you'll probably really dig this album.
